Christmas Weaving

Here's the blanket I'm weaving for my mom. It's what she wanted for Christmas, and since she's my mom... who am I to say no?! LOL I'm using this cream colored acrylic thread I bought for no apparent reason a couple years ago, as the warp, and some Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Cream & Burgundy for the weft. I personally would rather have used 100% wool for a blanket, but my mom's a no muss, no fuss kind of person, and wants to be able to just throw the blanket in the washer and dryer.

How's the Christmas projects coming along? I'd love to see an update, but if you are like me, recipients of the crafts I am making currently do read my blog and there for I am hesitant to post any progress in that department!!

Hope all is well with you, I am stopping by to ask you if you will come to my blog to vote on the contest entries I have, an unbiased opinion is what I'm after, looking for someone who will honestly vote for your favorite project. It's hard to get that with the voters who might be voting for themselves or their friends, not that there's anything wrong with that either, but to have some voters that don't know the people personally who entered is what I am hoping to find in you! Thanks!
